Patrick Bitter, Jr., M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in non-surgical treatments to improve skin health and delay aging and anti-aging medicine. He is the founder of Advanced Aesthetic Dermatology and maintains medical practices in Los Gatos, CA and Beverly Hills, CA. He received his medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine. He completed his dermatology residency at Stanford University School of Medicine in 1986. Dr. Bitter is regarded as the pioneer in the use of pulsed light technology for skin rejuvenation. He is the developer of the acclaimed FotoFacial procedure using pulsed light to rejuvenate aged skin. He has authored several ground-breaking scientific papers on the use of pulsed light for skin rejuvenation. Dr. Bitter has been featured as a celebrity dermatologist on ABC’s Extreme Makeover. He is a member of several professional societies including Fellowship in the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. Dr. Bitter has been a consultant to the medical laser device industry and to nutritional and anti-aging companies.

Dr. A. Jay Burns has his private practice in Dallas and is a partner in Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute. He is board certified in plastic and reconstructive surgery.  Dr. Burns has chaired many laser conferences and is a noted national and international speaker and authority on lasers and cosmetic surgery, vascular anomalies, and birthmarks. He is founder and director of the Vascular Anomalies and Birthmark Clinic in Dallas, TX. He has been voted numerous times by his peers to both D Magazine’s “Best Doctors” and Texas Monthly’s “Texas Super Doctors”.  He has been featured on the Oprah Winfrey “Medical Miracles” show and has been a regular guest plastic surgeon on Good Morning Texas, WFAA-TV.

With his specialization in urogynecology, Dr. Michael Coyle holds the unique distinction of having earned the nation’s first Board Certification as a Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgeon (FPMRS) through The American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOOG) and The American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (AOBOG), later gaining such great standing in his field that he also became a Board examiner.

A board-certified dermatologist specializing in cosmetic, laser, and procedural dermatology, Dr. Jason Emer is an expert in surgical and nonsurgical facial sculpting and body contouring procedures. Following an internship at Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago, Dr. Emer completed a two-year dermatopharmacology fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, where he conducted multiple clinical trials on investigational treatments in cosmetic, laser and surgical dermatology; his work prompted FDA approval for several medications and devices treating a range of skin conditions. Throughout his residency, Dr. Emer focused his cosmetic interests on liposuction, contouring, sculpting, fat harvesting, and fat transfers, learning from world-renowned specialists in the fields of dermatology and plastic surgery. He also began an HIV treatment clinic where fat transfer, fillers, and other cosmetic and plastic surgical procedures were used to enhance patients’ facial features and address body disproportions. Dr. Emer is renowned for his ability to correct botched procedures, scars, burns, irregularities and deformities as well as his use of custom-tailored combination treatments to achieve patient-specific, long-term results.

John Hoopman began his clinical experience at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas in 1998. He is now the administrator of the UT program (now some 150 lasers strong) including the disciplines of medical/surgical specialties including Cardio-Thoracic, Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Oral Surgery, Orthopedics, Otorhinolaryngology, Urology, and Neurologic Surgery.

Kathy’s love for skin began in 2000 when she started working with a French cosmeceutical company. Like wine and cheese, it was an instant fit. For the next 7 years she worked with Aesthetic Centers in the Southwest developing treatment menus, training staff and implementing marketing programs.

In 2007, Kathy was certified in laser aesthetics and quickly became a laser trainer at multiple laser institutes in Arizona. In 2011 she developed laser curriculum and opened the first ARRA laser certification course in Arizona.

Over the last 15 years, Kathy has been fortunate enough to work in almost every position within the industry including; retail sales, front desk, laser technician, laser trainer, sales rep, event coordinator, sales consultant and manager. She has been awarded both Rep of the year and Presidents Club. Kathy started MINT in 2013 and is thrilled to now partner with ACG.

Dr. Chris W. Robb is the co-founder of Skin & Allergy Center and has been in practice since 2007. He obtained his PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 1999 and his Doctor of Medicine from Texas Tech University in 2003. Dr. Robb graduated from the Vanderbilt Department of Medicine, Division of Dermatology and became a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology in 2007. Dr. Robb takes a special interest in skin cancer surgery and cosmetic dermatology. He also continues to be involved in research in both university and private settings. He speaks nationally and internationally and is affiliated with Williamson Medical Center, St. Thomas-Rutherford and Vanderbilt University.  

Dr. Jill Waibel practices as a board certified dermatologist specializing in cutaneous laser surgery and the dermatologic care of patients. She is currently the medical director and owner of Miami Dermatology and Laser Institute in Miami, Florida. Dr. Waibel is a board certified dermatologist, and serves as a Clinical Voluntary Professor at University of Miami and Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology for Wright State University. She is the Dermatology Subsection Chief in the Department of Medicine at Baptist Hospital. She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Dermatology, and a diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Waibel is also a member of several professional organizations – the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the Women’s Dermatologic Society and the American Medical Association. She also served as a Vice-Chairman for the Dermatology Foundation and a Florida Medical Association Delegate.
