Registration and breakfast are between 7:00 am – 8:00 am, Saturday, November 11th on the 3rd Floor, Dallas Foyer. The general session kicks off promptly at 8:00 am.

This year Sciton celebrates 20 years of success. As a thank you, we invite you to join us on Saturday evening with a “Western Cowboy” themed anniversary celebration featuring a live band.

Also on Saturday, we will have a professional photographer available for headshots – dress appropriately.

Dermatologist

Patrick Bitter, Jr., M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in non-surgical treatments to improve skin health and delay aging and anti-aging medicine. He is the founder of Advanced Aesthetic Dermatology and maintains medical practices in Los Gatos, CA and Beverly Hills, CA. He received his medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine. He completed his dermatology residency at Stanford University School of Medicine in 1986. Dr. Bitter is regarded as the pioneer in the use of pulsed light technology for skin rejuvenation. He is the developer of the acclaimed FotoFacial procedure using pulsed light to rejuvenate aged skin. He has authored several ground-breaking scientific papers on the use of pulsed light for skin rejuvenation. Dr. Bitter has been featured as a celebrity dermatologist on ABC’s Extreme Makeover. He is a member of several professional societies including Fellowship in the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. Dr. Bitter has been a consultant to the medical laser device industry and to nutritional and anti-aging companies.

Dr. Diane Brzezinski has been practicing Internal Medicine in Naples, Florida for more than 15 years, and is a Naples Daily News Reader’s Choice Award winner for Best Physician for the last 6 years. Dr. B has been trained specifically to solve whatever problems a patient brings, no matter how rare, simple, or complicated.  Most importantly, Dr. Brzezinski treats the whole patient, not just the condition, and will help you to take ownership of your health through education and promoting a healthy lifestyle. This unique, holistic approach to patient treatment has gained her high praise from both her peers and clients alike.

Dermatologist

Dr. Joel Cohen is the Director of AboutSkin Dermatology and DermSurgery in Englewood and Lone Tree, Colorado. He serves as an Associate Clinical Professor in the department of Dermatology at the University of Colorado and as an Assistant Clinical Professor at University of California Irvine. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is fellowship-trained in Moha surgery and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Cohen is an internationally recognized expert on skin cancer and aesthetics, and participates in many clinical trials. He has been invited to speak at numerous national and international aesthetic and dermatologic meeting-including the American Society of Plastic Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology, ASDS, 5-Continent Aesthetic Meeting in France, IMCAS in Paris, and the Australasian College of Dermatology and Aesthetics in Melbourne. He has also published more than 155 medical articles and book chapters. He is the co-editor of the McGraw-Hill textbook “Aesthetic Rejuvenation a Regional Approach,” and also co-editor of the Willey Blackwell textbook “Reconstructive Conundrum in Dermatologic Surgery,” and is working on a third book.

Sherrif F. Ibrahim, MD, PhD

Dr. Sherrif Ibrahim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Rochester Medical Center. After completing a dermatology residency, he completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery, laser surgery, and cosmetic dermatology at the University of California, San Francisco. While at UCSF, Dr. Ibrahim worked closely with pioneers in the field of laser medicine in developing the latest techniques in this field.  His practice is currently focused on procedural and surgical dermatology.

Dr. Jason Pozner is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. The Founder of Sanctuary Plastic Surgery and co-owner of Sanctuary Medical Aesthetic Center in Boca Raton, Florida, Dr. Pozner is a highly respected authority on both surgical and non-invasive plastic surgery techniques. He has been a consultant or investigator for many aesthetic companies and member of several advisory boards, including Sciton, Mentor, Bioform, Coapt, Medicis, Allergan and Ultrashape.

Chris W. Robb, MD, PhD, FAAD

Dermatologist

Dr. Chris W. Robb is the co-founder of Skin & Allergy Center and has been in practice since 2007. He obtained his PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 1999 and his Doctor of Medicine from Texas Tech University in 2003. Dr. Robb graduated from the Vanderbilt Department of Medicine, Division of Dermatology and became a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology in 2007. Dr. Robb takes a special interest in skin cancer surgery and cosmetic dermatology. He also continues to be involved in research in both university and private settings. He speaks nationally and internationally and is affiliated with Williamson Medical Center, St. Thomas-Rutherford and Vanderbilt University.

Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Marc Salzman is a double board certified Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon practicing in Louisville, Kentucky since 1992.  He has taught numerous medical courses to physicians, nurses and paramedical cosmetologists. He has served as Chief of Surgery at St. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville as well as Vice President, President Elect and President of the Kentucky Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons as well as numerous regional societies. He is recognized for his expertise in breast augmentation, revision facial aesthetic surgery and body contouring. He is a frequent contributor to the local media and has been listed in Louisville Magazine’s Best of Louisville for Cosmetic Surgeons.

Tamra Schue-Garberg is an ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center USA) board-certified doctor of nursing and family nurse practitioner specializing in cosmetic dermatology. Bringing together the art and science of cosmetic dermatology, Tamra uses FDA-approved products and clinically studied noninvasive procedures to rejuvenate skin and remove unwanted hair, rosacea, small blood vessels, sun damage, age spots and wrinkles.

Tamra prides herself on delivering customized, noninvasive patient plans for skin rejuvenation and personally administering appropriate medical procedures to restore skin to a healthy, natural and radiant glow. She conducts a variety of noninvasive skin rejuvenation procedures.

Jill S. Waibel, MD, FAAD

Dr. Jill Waibel practices as a board certified dermatologist specializing in cutaneous laser surgery and the dermatologic care of patients. She is currently the medical director and owner of Miami Dermatology and Laser Institute in Miami, Florida. Dr. Waibel is a board certified dermatologist, and serves as a Clinical Voluntary Professor at University of Miami and Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology for Wright State University. She is the Dermatology Subsection Chief in the Department of Medicine at Baptist Hospital. She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Dermatology, and a diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Waibel is also a member of several professional organizations – the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the Women’s Dermatologic Society and the American Medical Association. She also served as a Vice-Chairman for the Dermatology Foundation and a Florida Medical Association Delegate.

Kathy’s love for skin began in 2000 when she started working with a French cosmeceutical company. Like wine and cheese, it was an instant fit. For the next 7 years she worked with Aesthetic Centers in the Southwest developing treatment menus, training staff and implementing marketing programs.

In 2007, Kathy was certified in laser aesthetics and quickly became a laser trainer at multiple laser institutes in Arizona. In 2011 she developed laser curriculum and opened the first ARRA laser certification course in Arizona.

Over the last 15 years, Kathy has been fortunate enough to work in almost every position within the industry including; retail sales, front desk, laser technician, laser trainer, sales rep, event coordinator, sales consultant and manager. She has been awarded both Rep of the year and Presidents Club. Kathy started MINT in 2013 and is thrilled to now partner with ACG.

Tom Seery is the founder and CEO of RealSelf, an online resource for medical aesthetics. PSP Magazine recently called Tom “plastic surgery’s answer to Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg” and a Top Influencer in 2015. Prior to RealSelf, Tom was a member of the founding team at Expedia, where he developed a $500M private-label travel business and introduced search marketing long before Google was a household name. Tom recently followed his passion for giving back, and joined the board of ReSurge International (formerly named Interplast). ReSurge brings life-transforming reconstructive plastic surgery to 2,000 children a year in developing nations. Tom holds an MS from Drexel University, MBA from University of Washington, and BA from Connecticut College. He resides in Seattle with his wife and two highly energetic toddlers.
